By directly containing a high performance solution within a PET capsule, the SEP 105 PET Capsule achieves optimal efficacy with minimal amount. Since it is made of PET, there is no concern over residue materials generated on the surface of machines that mold PET plastic. After weekly business hours conclude, we conduct purging, in which molding machines and blow heads are soaked in purging resin mixing 20 capsules into 2 kilograms of PET. (Power-off) When the purging resin is discharged on Monday morning, carbide is eliminated. It takes only 30 minutes to replace materials in machines, thereby dramatically improving work efficiency.

We manufacture PET sheets for food using a 2-axis extruder (90mm screw diameter), but had encountered problems with carbide generation. Even with the use of purging solution, in some cases residual purging material itself became carbide. After calculating the proportion based on carbide emission per hour, we inserted the purging solution made in the proportion of 10 capsules/kg into the hopper. As a result, we succeeded in significantly reducing the level of carbides.

We conducted a 36-hour soaking purging of a 600 ton injection perform molding machine, eliminating a large quantity of marble-like carbide that had adhered to the inside of the machine and its nozzle.

Since the PET capsule is dissolved at about 240 degrees, it can be used with resin that has a molding temperature at an equal or higher degree. Currently we are conducting tests with PFA molding, PC, and heat-resistant nylon.
